The upper part of the spectrum is reproduced by a coaxially integrated dome tweeter and is therefore perfectly aligned physically with the bass driver. This results in a particularly linear phase response. This specific configuration, used by APG since 1990, gives the iX6-O a conical acoustic dispersion of 120° maintained beyond 10kHz. In addition to its reduced dimensions and limited weight, the APG iX6 loudspeaker is characterised by its anti-diffraction baffle which gives it excellent phase linearity. This results in sonic performance approaching that of studio monitoring, with higher output and power handling. The iX6 has an impedance of 8 ohms. It can also
be integrated into 70/100V line type systems thanks to a transformer
50W or 100W optional (T50 or T100 option).

Ergonomic, the iX6-O offers all the functions and options suitable for fixed outdoor installation: aesthetic trapezoidal format, Speakon-type connectors, and a moisture-resistant surface treatment that allows water run-off. M8 metal inserts allow it to be fixed using a dedicated mounting bracket.
