The high end of the spectrum
is delivered by an integrated 1" compression chamber motor
coaxial and therefore perfectly aligned physically with the loudspeaker of the
bass. The result is a particularly linear phase response. This set-up
private, used by APG since 1990, gives the iX8-O an aperture
100° conical dispersion maintained beyond 10kHz. The APG iX8-O loudspeaker
is characterised by its anti-diffraction baffling, which gives it a very high
excellent phase linearity. The result is a conical directivity
quasiconstant. The iX8-O is characterised by its SPL level-to-size ratio
combined with high-precision sound reproduction quality
especially its useful bandwidth. The iX8-O has an 8-ohm impedance. It can
can also be integrated into 70/100V line type systems using a
optional 100W transformer (option T100).

Ergonomic, the iX8-O offers
all the functions and options suited to fixed outdoor installation:
aesthetic trapezoidal format, Speakon-type connectors, moisture-resistant surface treatment enabling water drainage, M8 metal inserts
allowing it to be fixed using various accessories allowing horizontal or vertical mounting or adjustment of the loudspeaker's inclination.
